Reunification
Reunification evaluations can be court-ordered when a parent has completed an improvement period, when a child has been out of the home for a significant length of time, or at any other juncture when reunification is being considered by the court. All members of the family are evaluated, barriers to successful reunification are identified, recommendations for interventions for each individual and the family unit are offered, and the prognosis for the success of those interventions is given. Reunification evaluations can also be tailored to address visitation in the context of a DHHR case.
